Do the following if you have ringing or ghosting on your prints
- Solidify Base
- Check Tightness of Belts
- Lower Print Speed
- Tighten Screws
- Reduce Moving Weight
Ringing is caused by vibrations. Solidifying the base will help reduce vibration. Check that the base is level and secure.
Loose belts will also cause extra vibration. Check all belts for adequate tension. Remember not to put too much tension either.
In your slicer, find the settings for printing speed. Test out several slower speeds in increments of 10 mm/s and see if ringing persists.
A loose screw or bolt on the frame of the printer could lead to some extra movement. Go over the entire frame checking the torque of each bolt and screw. Again, don't overtighten anything.
If you have any extra mods on the printer head, you may have increased the moving weight of the printer too much. Try reducing the weight of the printer head.
